So I finally get my little hands on the elusive Japanese hair gel by Gatsby. I've heard so much about their products and have had a sneaky scoop out of a friends product so I've been keen to try something different over the over priced Kevin Murphy and American Crew stuff we get here in Australia.
$10 bucks each from eBay was a bit of a bargain compared to what I usually pay for my usual hair products. I haven't yet tried any but will edit this post once I've tried all three.
Wild Shake (The Purple one) I've read isn't meant to be as versatile as Spiky Edge, but for some reason it was the first I tried. It's also meant to be used for medium to short length hair, similar to Spiky Edge, but where it differs is that it doesn't turn your hair into pointy spikes, thus the name Spiky Edge I imagine. I suppose that it's not so good for creating a distinct point in your hair, but more so for angles and non-symmetric styles. It doesn't hold so well so wind and clothing can have a rather large impact on it's control, so make sure you use spray and put your clothes on before applying it.
Spiky Edge is next!
