Some joker up at head-office thought that this would be a good idea for April Fools. I admit a full news-like article did fool me for a second till I remembered that it was 2am and therefore... April Fools day.
No I wasn't... Jerk.
However, I thought they crossed the line when the article claimed that "Neil Armstrong, who is battling terminal Prostate Cancer, didn't want to die without a clear conscience."
Bit sick don't you think?
It's been so long since there was a JDMST meet in Melbourne. As the somewhat lone organiser for the events I took some initiative to organise one for the West side. We have never done one in the West so I was really surprised to see so many people turn out! A lot seemed to lurk the forum and came out of the woodwork for a social chat and photo session. It was a real pleasure to meet all the new faces and to catch up with the old ones.
It's always a good chance to practice some photography as well.

I think we've all just about done it. China Bar past midnight is a ritual for so many and used to be mine back in the olden Box Hill days. They are long behind me now but it was almost relived the other night when me and some mates decided that China Bar and VA (Virtual Arena) would be a good idea.
We bailed on the VA idea after being unable to find a seat and ended up playing Street Fighter 4 for 2 hours instead. Much better...
