Tour Special Clubs

My good friend Suresh sent me a text message last night forwarded on from a Golf Clearance Centre indicating a massive warehouse sale tonight, and you guys should know by now that I can't miss a warehouse sale.

I've been looking for a set of clubs for so long but didn't want to spend a massive sum on them. It got packed in their pretty fast but I found a nice package of Tour Special clubs that are excellent for me, the beginner.

It feels good to finally have a set of clubs in the family.

100 Plays

Bright Eyes - Four Winds hits 100 plays

I was suprised to notice just before that the first song to tick over 100 plays on my iTunes is Four Winds by Bright Eyes and by a good 41 plays over my favorite Atmosphere track. It's not my favorite song in the world but it defentinly has a timeless tune so I guess that's why I can listen to it so much.

Looking at the entire top 20 there's only one or two songs that I rate in my top 5 which is suprising.

It got me thinking, what's your top played song on iTunes and is it your favorite song on your playlist?

Parking ticket? Pffft...

Parking Ticket

Oh the joy of seeing this on my window after uni. I actually do mean joy because I don't have to pay it. I had left my car ticketless in the university car park after the ticket machine decided to eat my money, and the money of the 3 people after me.

Thankfully I'm not so naive and called the council number, reported the faulty machine and requested a report number so I could appeal the fine if the council workers were stupid enough to issue it. Despite the girl on the phones assurance they weren't stupid, they were and upon her advice, I now have to write to them to have it quashed (I love that word).

If worse comes to worse as well, I recorded the conversation on my trust phone and it resides as an mp3 file on my memory card.

Moral of the story? It pays to think ahead and be smart.
