I get the feeling they weren't kidding when they told me that the lens you use plays a huge role in the quality of photography you take. I guess I always took it as just some arrogant pro saying that "your stock crap ain't good enough to keep up with me son!".

My D60, the camera I use for most of the photos on this site, has become somewhat cumbersome to carry around everywhere I go so it seemed like a natural progression to find a fixed lens that I could use daily!

With all that in mind I picked it up from Teds Cameras after they priced matched to $349 which was a song for such a versatile lens.
