Phew, what a weekend we just had. It started early on Saturday at 8:30am with an intense training session at Ruffey Lake. I haven't talked about training as I haven't had the chance to photo it but I'm back in Soccer training so I'll keep you posted once I get the chance. You can see why given that I felt like I had bitten off more than I could chew with my attendance at 3 different venues that night. It was going to be a while before I got to rest up from training.
As you see above it started perfectly on the beach for Yogi's 24th at St Kilda Baths. An interesting venue with Sue and I running a commentary on a group of four 30-something single ladies as they tried there efforts with the younger crowd. How embarrassing for them when they went to go buy some drinks for the guys near us, only to find the guys gone by the time they came back. Probably about as painful as a fork in the face that was to watch. We left Yogi who was already about as loose as you can get at about 9:15 before I ventured off to Kim's Sorority Party.

The American themed bash was to celebrate the girls moving back home after their time out of it. I got about as American as I can get with my Phillies New Era cap. We enjoyed a quick round of an American drinking game called Flip Cup, suggested by an actual American before I rushed off to meet up with some friends to, funnily enough, head back to St. Kilda.

N.A.S.A were back and after seeing them last year I did not want to miss them again. The same two DJ's came out as last year and put on a spectacular set with the only downside being the speakers being turned up to 12 when a leisurely 10 would have prolonged our presence there. I don't think I'm being an old far in complaining about that but my ears are still ringing 24 hours on and that's not good.

Overall an epic weekend. First month of 2010 over and so far so good!
