Uni starts next week so I wanted to make the most of the final genuine holiday weekend of the summer. We did so with a road-trip down to Anglesea on Friday and having never ventured down that far before and was psyched to finally engage in decent road trip. Annoyingly, my passenger Matt was asleep for the entire trip to and from Anglesea so I spent the trip listening to my mixtape.
We were lucky enough to get some decent waves and I tried my hand at Boogie Boarding for the first time in my life. I loved it! It was a decent 3 hours in the surf which was producing some huge waves and I was absolutely wrecked by the end of it! Still I wanted to get back out there, I think the surf bug has bit me. I got dry-cleaned only once which was genuinely terrifying but stuck it out to catch some amazing runs in. Got a decent tan too as an added benefit. Finally I'm starting to reflect my true Italian olive skin.
Saturday was a fairly tame recovery from the hectic day before. I went to go get my scans for my knee, which I'll inform you guys on later, but was told that the clinic was far too busy to see me. They haven't called so fingers crossed it's not my ACL or something as I really want to continue this fitness pledge. Saturday night I sat in on my brothers Trivia night for the Old Carey Cricket Club.

Trivia nights always bring out the creative side of some people and I loved some of the team names with Quiz on my face being my pick. Coleman-Hasslehoff finished a respectable 3rd and I enjoyed a few beers to end the night.
I'm off to get my x-ray results. Stay tuned.
